Support for 4 transceivers
Up to 4 rigs can be configured. Four control panels are available. One is the (classic) Monitoring and controls the Main Transceiver. The other three are called Sub-Transceiver panels. The Operating transceiver for TRX-Manager (the one active for logging, spotting, SW database, OLE to LOGic, Band decoder, Rotator...) is not necessarily the Main transceiver: any of the 4 radios can easily become the operating transceiver at any time just by clicking the OP button. The main transceiver has the benefit of extensive support, while the 3 Sub-Transceivers support the most important functions (frequency, mode, AF...) and user-defined macro commands. Fours radios at the same time in TRX-Manager in a compact and user-friendly design Drag and drop is supported between transceivers. Synchronization between a sub-transceiver and the main transceiver is possible. Layout is configurable and stays attached with a transceiver as well as most of Transceiver's Preferences. Selection of the Operating Transceiver from the "all in one" DXBar window Using the Transceiver menu, you to change the Main transceiver. This still takes only a few seconds. In addition, the configurable SO4R (Single Transceiver Four radios) mode of operation allows great flexibility in the use of four transceivers at the same time.
Quick Memories
The Quick-Memories module has been totally revised. The Quick Memories of TRX-Manager are - by definition - simple and quick to use. Using the Quick Memories is recommended for use in real-time and especially to save DX-Spots. Quick Memories store essential parameters including those required in Split (QSX) or via Repeaters as well as geographical data (Grid). An Icon may be selected to allows a pleasant display of the various frequencies. The Open and Save buttons allow managing various files of quick memories.
New Band Plan
The new band plan is comprehensive from 0 to 1300 MHz with up to 250 defined segments for each of the 3 IARU Regions. Of course, it is also configurable by the user. At any time, your position in the spectrum is displayed in the Monitoring display: In addition, the Quick Scan tab of to the Quick Memories module allows a Quick view of the band Plan and instant setup of the internal Scanner or the band scope of TRX-Manager for any segment:
Other new features
Other important changes in TRX-Manager V4.X are: - Support for Windows XP 64 bits including new drivers and a new setup engine - Support for QRZ XML subscriptions - Synchro for SteppIR and Kenwood compatible controllers - Support for logging to LOGic in real-time. - Support for new RX/TX : FTDX9000 ICPCR1000 IC-7000 - and, more update to come (TRX 4.X), as usual!
